Shopping around online for a human to trust and talk to can be a strange experience, and I understand that the beginning of this journey can feel intimidating. My goal is to ensure the safety and welfare of my clients while helping them navigate turbulent times. I utilize humor, creativity, self-reflection, body-based interventions, and education to promote your growth. Your therapy will be individualized to who you are and your lived experiences. We’ll work as a team to explore, understand, and update the obstacles in your life. I believe knowledge is a transformative tool that can help us update how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. Together, we'll look beyond diagnoses, and examine attachment and relationships. We'll also hold space for the external systems that might be influencing your life.

I primarily work with those who have faced past or ongoing traumas, sexual assault or abuse, domestic or gender-based violence, college students, and the LGBTQ+ community. I also have solid experience working with adults who experience bipolar, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, stress, relationship issues, academic struggles, immigration difficulties, and grief. When working with BIPOC, I am mindful of my white identity. I use a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and collaborative approach that is flexible and tailored to who you are, where you are at, and what you need. There are many types of therapy and that can be confusing while searching for a therapist. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the way I conduct therapy and the frameworks of theory I use.

Therapy is an investment in the longest and most important relationship you will ever have - the one with yourself.
